what are your plans for stoping drugs coming in to the country?
Question by sha,ka: what are your plans for stoping drugs coming in to the country?
it is not the people that make the drug , it is not the people that brought the drug in the state, as you know drugs were sent in the poor Area of each state to bring the blacks down , most of the crime in the philadelphia Area is because of drugs, i know a kid that got killed for only two hundred dollar worth of coke, there are people that destroy their lives because of it, the drugs have to get off the streets the police bust the small guy well i feel that it not doing anything, will u be our police and stop the big guys, that bring it from over sea, and in to our streets

China is the only nation that eradicated it’s drug problem and their method was simple: if you are caught with an illegal drug in any quantity you are shot in the head. We are never going to do that here so we can only limit it to an extent. As for the kid got that killed, maybe you should be asking the right questions like why did that kid have $ 200 of coke? Who is responsible for that child? What problem exists in Philly? What can be done locally to solve these issues? People “overseas” cannot ship drugs to a place where they are not being bought. Meth is made right here in the good old USA, so stopping people “overseas” will not stop the drugs.

Are these symptoms of drug abuse?
Question by sXe: Are these symptoms of drug abuse?
Restricted pupils, glassy eyes, scratching, can’t sit still, and everything is done in a rammy hurried fashion. If so, what kind of drugs would cause these symptoms?
Best answer:
Answer by lollocoptor
When it comes to drug use, one of the most common symptoms is pupil dilation. However, the real thing to look for is a change from the normal, which could definitely include restricted pupils. All the other symptoms you gave are good indicators of drug use, and the scratching is a cardinal sign of methamphetamine.
I’d look out for signs of decreased appetite, increased aggression and excitation, hyperactivity, and blotchy, greasy skin. These are also signs of meth use.

is there a college with a 2-year psychology program instead of 4-year?
Question by seiko: is there a college with a 2-year psychology program instead of 4-year?

Most community colleges offer psychology. However, there is very little you can do with an AA in psychology. Even a BA is tough to find work in the field. Most positions require at least a Master’s. Some community colleges do offer substance abuse programs where yu are qualified to be a drug counselor after 2 years. There are also openings in hospitals and in patient treatment centers that hire students and AA/BA level people as mental health counselors. Sorry for the not so good news.
Answer by Lilina
You can study psych at a community college, which gives you a 2 year degree.
BUT, I really don’t recommend doing a 2-year psych program….. .psychology is very competitive and even a B.S. in psych from a four year program does not get you very far. In psychology, grad school is the norm and is expected. Anything less will get you only a limited amount of jobs.
Rethink why you want to study psych, and what sort of job you’d like to have that involves psych. Do a job search for jobs you’d be interested in to see what the minimum requirements are. If you find that all the jobs you would like to have require a graduate degree in psych, then a 2-year program will definitely not help. If you’re still in school, I suggest going to speak to your academic advisor/counselor to talk about possible opportunities.

Helping my brother with a drug addiction, should I test his urine randomly or trust him?
Question by sacha: Helping my brother with a drug addiction, should I test his urine randomly or trust him?
He’s been on cocaine for a few years now, he just told me a few days ago. My dad kicked him out from home recently for stealing / bad behavior, he had nowhere eles to go so I’m letting him stay with me for a few months until he’s clean and working.
I’ve heard many times that the only way he’ll quit is if he really wants too, he told me he wants to quit, but he just needs alot of help. Im thinking about buying urine tests online, to test him randomly.
Do you think that’s a good idea? or should I just trust him?..since him quitting is really out of my control. Although I wouldn’t really know what to do if he tested positive one day, I don’t think I can just throw him out like my dad did, or eles his life would be over… i don’t know, I need advice.
he’s going to try rehab, trying to get him in a 18day program

Answer by David Garcia
I think you should test him after few weeks of moving in. Just in case. And if he’s still on it, do what ever ur gunna do.
Hope he can stop.
Answer by John
Get him help. Get him into a rehabilitation centre. Tell him it’s not because you don’t eleven he hasn’t quit, but so he can stay off the drugs forever.
You’re doing an extremely nice thing letting him stay with you, he’s a lucky brother to have a sister who cares do much. Good luck.
