What is happening NOW that you think is from years of drug abuse??
I am sure IF there has been years of using….you must have some side effect going on now.
not sure which you are talking about this second…could you list it?
People who are suffering emotionally use drugs—not in order to get high—but to feel normal. Drug use can be a seemingly attractive and easy escape from all kinds of problems. Speed might be used to fight feelings of inferiority, sleeping pills to deal with panic attacks, or painkillers to numb depression. However while drug use might make a person feel better in the short-term, this attempt to self-medicate ultimately backfires. Instead of treating the underlying problem, drug use simply masks the symptoms. Take the drug away and the problem is still there, whether it be low self-esteem, stress, or an unhappy family life. Furthermore, prolonged drug use eventually brings its own host of problems, including major disruptions to normal, daily functioning. Unfortunately, the psychological, physical, and social consequences of drug abuse and dependence are often worse than the original problem the user was trying to cope with or avoid.

Philadelphia after midnight?
Question by Adrivit: Philadelphia after midnight?
So I’m going to a concert in Philly next month and my show ends at around midnight I’m guessing. Now my bus to DC leaves at about 2.30 am from 30th St station. I know it’s kind of stupid to wander around the streets at that time, but is there anywhere I could go for 2 hours without getting killed? Thanks!
Best answer:
Answer by David H
South street then take the Blue Line Night Owl from 5th or 2nd street give yourself 45 minutes to get to 30th st. They run about every 15-20 minutes.
Answer by Amanda
You’ll be fine inside 30th Street Station. Contrary to popular belief, it is unlikely that anyone will be interested in killing you unless you decide to sell drugs on someone else’s territory in a neighborhood you’ll have no reason to be in. 30th Street Station is also right by University City, so you could always find a campus bar to hang out in. The campuses there all have their own police patrolling in addition to Philadelphia cops.
