WOW addiction?
Question by idog: WOW addiction?
When I posted my last question about if I was adicted to WOW or not I was not specific enough about the time i played. when I said i played 4-6 hours during the week days I ment over the whole 5 days and 9-12 hours on the weekend over the whole 2 days. I also miscalculated the number of days I play. I examined my habits and I only play WOW 2-3 days of the regular weekdays and typicaly I only play it on sunday on the weekend. on any gived day i play no more than three hours, typicaly less than one. I also downloaded Titan bar which said that in over the 4 months I played it I only played for 3.5 days total (84 hours total). whith this new information do you think I have an adiction.
Also I would like to make a statement about that kid in China who died because his parents would not stop playing WOW. It was one incident, I bet you hundreds of kids have died in America because their parents wouldn’t stop watching TV. The average American watches 4 hours of TV a day more than i play WOW.
Yahoo cut me off before I could finish my statement. I was going to say that realy any recreational activity it going to generate addicts. WOW is just the newest one. Americans by they time they would have died would have waisted 11 years of their life watching TV if they watch the average 4 hours a day and I’m sure that people Inatant Message just as much. Just yesterday my sister IMed for 4 straight hours. If you want to stop adictions why don’t you ban all recreational activities. Face it what we do everyday has the potential to be adictive.

after saying that i would ask you when you are not playing how do you feel? if you are feeling like you want to play then yes i would say you have an addiction. it might be as bad as the person next to you but still you might have one.
